Had an accident? Make one call.

We assess the damage, lodge and manage the claim with your insurer, arrange the tow if the car can't be driven, and repair it properly. You deal with us, not with four different companies who each blame the other.

How a claim runsTypical
  • Damage assessed and photographedSame day or next, at our place or yours
  • Quote and report sent to the insurerItemised, with a photo appendix
  • Waiting on approvalWhere most of the delay happens — we chase it
  • In repairParts, panel, paint, reassembly
  • Ready for collectionDetailed, with the guarantee in writing

We tell you which stage you're at without you having to ring and ask. If the insurer goes quiet, that's our problem to solve, not yours.

Just had the accident?

Do these before you move the car. Five minutes now saves weeks of argument later.

  1. Check everyone first

If anyone is hurt, call 000. Nothing below matters more than this.
  2. Photograph everything

Both cars, all four corners, the number plates, the road, the signs, the skid marks. More photos than feels necessary.
  3. Swap details properly

Full name, address, phone, rego, insurer and policy number. A phone number alone is not enough.
  4. Don't admit fault at the scene

Say what happened, factually. Fault is decided by the insurers on the evidence, not by whoever apologises first.
  5. Get a witness if there is one

A name and number from someone who saw it is worth more than any argument afterwards.
  6. Then call us

Before you call the insurer, if you can. We'll tell you what the claim is likely to look like.

What we handle

From the phone call after the crash through to handing the keys back.

Safety systems matter after a front or side impact. Cameras and radar behind bumpers and screens need recalibrating once the panels come off, or the lane keeping and braking assist won't read the road correctly. We identify what needs recalibration at assessment and list it in the quote rather than leaving it off to make the number look better.

The questions people actually ask

Can I choose my own repairer?

It depends on your policy, not on the law. Choice of repairer is a feature found on many comprehensive policies — sometimes standard, sometimes an optional extra, and not on every product. Check your product disclosure statement, or send it to us and we'll read it for you. If your policy doesn't include it, your insurer will usually direct the car to a repairer in its own network.

What if the accident wasn't my fault?

You may be able to have the repairs and a replacement vehicle claimed against the other driver's insurer rather than your own, which can mean no excess and no effect on your no-claim discount. Whether that applies depends on the circumstances and on who the other insurer is. We'll tell you honestly whether it looks available in your case before you commit to anything.

Do I still pay my excess?

If you're claiming on your own policy, yes — the excess is between you and your insurer, and any repairer who offers to make it disappear is doing something you don't want your name attached to. What we can do is tell you early whether the repair cost is close enough to your excess that claiming isn't worth it.

How long will it take?

The repair itself is usually days. The wait is almost always insurer approval and parts supply. We give you a realistic date once the approval lands, and we'd rather tell you three weeks and deliver in two than the other way around.

What if the car is written off?

Then we say so at assessment instead of starting work. If the repair cost approaches the car's value, the insurer will usually settle rather than repair, and you're better off knowing that on day one.

How we run it

Four stages, and you hear from us at each one.

  1. Call or send photos

If the car isn't drivable we arrange the tow. If it is, bring it in or we come to you. Either way the assessment costs you nothing.

  2. Assessment and claim

We photograph the damage, write the itemised quote, and lodge it with your insurer. If you haven't started a claim yet, we'll walk you through it.

  3. Approval, then repair

We chase the assessor rather than waiting. Once it's approved, parts are ordered and the car goes into the booth. Strip-down sometimes finds damage behind the panels — if it does, you hear about it before any extra work is authorised.

  4. Back to you

Cleaned inside and out, with the workmanship guarantee in writing. Anything you're not happy with on handover, we take back and fix.

Send us the damage

Fill this in and it writes the message for you — you just hit send, and attach your photos to it. If the car isn't drivable, call instead.
